They should have moved Tucker Carlson into that spot. Brit Hume is mean spirited, rheumy old ghoul.

Gretchen ‘It’s so UNBEARABLE being sexually harassed so I think I’ll STAY at my company for over 10 years’ Carlson?

The “House that Roger Built,” is going to come apart. And it can’t happen soon enough for me.

If there’s a non-compete clause, it may have a time limit on it. Anyway, I hope Greta ends up somewhere. Maybe she’ll get a radio show, but I think she’s better on TV.

I wouldn’t go quite as far as to say the suit is non-sexual.

I might have missed something, but I did not hear of specific sexual harassment charges in Andrea Tantaros'suit.-Tom

That’s a fair response. If not, then you’re absolutely right about it being non-sexual, as long as the cause was non-sexual.

Thanks for the correction.

Again, I think Hume is a temporary replacement through Election Day; it will basically be a second hour of “Special Report,” and on nights when Hume is out, Bret Baier will simply fill the 7-8 pm time slot.

After the election, Fox will debut a permanent replacement. Martha McCallum is probably the front-runner, with Shannon Bream also in contention. If McCallum gets the nod, Heather Childers or Heather Nauert will move into her current spot alongside Bill Hemmmer.

Fox has a deep bench, talent-wise. But again, don’t dismiss the idea of Ailes getting involved with a new network—even before his non-compete expires—and raiding Fox for much of his on-air staff.

You are correct; the younger Murdochs have actually said they view CNN (currently last-place among cable news networks) as the “model” for FNC. Getting rid of Roger Ailes was a required step in removing the only potential threat to their take-over once Rupert is gone. To be sure, Ailes was always a dark-horse candidate, but transforming a cable news network that “experts” said was doomed to fail into the most popular channel in the cable universe is no mean feat, and will definitely win friends in the board room.

Under the next generation of Murdochs, FNC will be a disaster, ratings-wise, content-wise and revenue-wise

I like Martha McCallum and Tucker Carlson. But I see Fox News heading down a bad path with Murdoch’s two libterd sons taking over. It will be CNN soon.

Ten years ago I thought Fox was great and it was. I have no need of Fox today.

ps
I forgot to add that Megan Kelly, Bret Bair, and Mike Wallace are snakes in the grass, venomous snakes they are. The only thing on Fox worthy of listening to is on Fox Business Channel and occasionally Hannity on Fox.

Fox is GOP elite and thus support Hillary. Trump will destroy the GOP elite if he wins the Presidency. Fox knows this. Thus they support Hillary.

The other networks will broadcast blatant lies of Hillary with no push back. Fox's sin is not to even cover those blatant lies.

I’d be willing to be sexually harassed for only $10m.

Even if every single allegation against Ailes is true, you aren't going to convince me that he caused 20 million worth of harm to Carlson or the other women involved, who probably slept or at least flirted their way through half of their careers regardless.

People who are left physically crippled for life due to the negligence and malice of others often don't even get a fraction of what this harpy extorted in her trumped-up sexual harassment suit.
