Make mexico great again my deporting its rapists and murderers back into their country? I thought Mexico was smart in making Mexico Great Again by exporting its criminals to the US.
I have often opined that my single biggest objection to the massive immigration is every bit as much the fact that Mexico needs their best and brightest more than we do.
There is NO reason, besides a corrupt government, for Mexico to NOT be a wealthy country. Every advantage that a nation could have- two coasts, minerals, oil, a religious hard working population.
And yes, there are a lot of low lives here illegally, but I do know a lot of hard working, honest ethical Mexicans who are worthy successors to the best Europe sent here- and their country needs them more. Mexico needs that guy working two jobs or busting his butt running a business.
I believe the the only legitimate goal of our immigration policy is to make this country better by draining off the best and the brightest from everywhere else, legal details and cultural niceties be damned. But a Mexico made great, or at least wealthy and functional, would be a bigger step in our safety and self interest than anything that could happen, or not happen, in the middle east.
As long as we stick to our quotas, we’re not draining other nations.
It’s the wholesale avalanche from another nation that would do what you reference. And Mexico is a prime example.
I do have to take objection to the idea we’re getting Mexico’s best and brightest though. The best and brightest have more than a 4th grade education, and sadly that’s about the average for the illegals coming up here.
Except that we aren’t getting Mexico’s best and brightest. We are getting people running from justice, the uneducated, the drug dealers, and the poorest.
Mexico has their best and brightest, they’re dumping their unskilled labor on us.
It seems that many who find their way from Mexico are alcoholics who may know how to operate a vehicle, they just don’t know how to drive safely while attempting to navigate said vehicle. We’ve seen too many who kill honest Americans on our highways, when English is not an acquired language, they haven’t a clue as to where they are going or from whence they came.

As an aside, it appears Trump is already negotiating with Mexico in terms of trade and how the U.S. and Mexico might jointly negotiate with China. Giuliani said that Trump had, in effect, a very sophisticated understanding of trade.
I’ve read that 25 Americans are killed or murdered by illegal aliens every day. That is 9125 Americans per year.
P.S. Driving while drunk is a sign of manhood among Mexicans. It doesn’t matter if you kill some innocent person in the process.
