Pray for Our American Heroes and Nation

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him,
and given Him a Name which is above every name;
That at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow,
of things in heaven, and things in earth,
and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:9-11

Holy God,

There is no other name like the Name of Jesus, for You have given Your Son a Name which is above every name. And one day, Father, every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, all to Your glory, Father God. How blessed we are to know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for our sakes He became poor, that we through His poverty might be rich. (Philippians 2:9-11) Father, we thank You for so great a love that You have shown toward us.

Lord God, we confess Your divine protection this day over our military troops. We pray in agreement with Your Word that when they pass through the waters, You will be with them; and the rivers, they shall not overflow them; for when they walk through the fire, they shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon them. (Isaiah 43:2) May they fear not, Lord, for You are with them; and may they not be dismayed; for You are their God; therefore You will strengthen them and help them; yes, You will uphold them with the right hand of Your righteousness. (Isaiah 41:10)

Father, these are indeed times of division, unrest, and danger. We confess that You, Lord, are our Shield and our Buckler. Make us to dwell in the shadow of Your wings until these calamities have passed. And as we wait upon You, Lord, may we renew our strength, mounting up with wings as eagles; running, and not being weary; walking and not fainting. (Isaiah 40:31).

Blessed is the Name of the Lord! In the Name of Jesus Christ we pray this prayer in agreement across this nation that You have so richly blessed. Amen.
