It appears as though Colin Kaepernick, Eric Reid, and Jeremy Lane will have some company next time they decide to kneel, or sit, during the playing of the National Anthem.
At least thats whats being reported by these two ESPN NFL reporters:

Which means, of course, that your hopes and dreams of soon being able to finally embrace your Sunday, Monday, and Thursday escapism have been thoroughly dashed.
There was a time when the NFL had an opportunity to nip this budding activism. Though, when they failed to punish Browns running back Isaiah Crowell for posting a pic of a cop getting his throat slit on Instagram, in addition to refusing to punish Kaepernick for wearing socks which depicted cops as pigs, the league sent a clear message to their players that they in no way would interfere with any attempts to turn the football field into a Social Justice Warrior Convention.

I would not be surprised either. But since I no longer care about or follow professional football, they can do as they please for my part.
I blame the NFL. They have a rule for everything, but not for this?
ESPN & the NFL suck too bad soo many support them by watching.
Keep it up guys, you are driving me to pay mevto pay more attention to the college football game.
Go UConn!
ESPN is fanning the flames as much as they can but the Fans will decide not ESPN or the NFL
First order of business is to revoke the NFL’s monopoly status, and let others begin competing leagues in the same time slot
Correction: more.
I love black people. They push the envelope in areas where whites don’t go. The NFL is their game. They call the shots. The national anthem has no business being played before sporting events. It’s another issue but leave it to the blacks to stand up to it and bring it out into the open.
Let the fools do what they want. Let the public decide how they feel about it and let the public deal out the punishment. It’s quite clear from public reaction so far that close to 80% of all those who are aware of what happened are totally not supportive of Kaepernick.
There are over 1500 nfl players and just three who are doing this. Yet the dishonest media makes it seem it is a majority.
Jeez what’s happened to ESPN and sports? Can’t we watch a damned event any more without being preached to? It used to be an escape from all of the political nonsense...
Perhaps the NFL Management are anti-American one-worlders like those who have been misleading and undermining our Nation for decades.
“There was a time when the NFL had an opportunity to nip this budding activism.”
If it causes controversy and gets the NFL publicity it wouldn’t otherwise have, their ratings might go up or stay the same. See how the ratings do, that will decide what the NFL does. The NFL is the most popular US sport by far because of the huge number of casual fans that tune in. The NFL will only act if the average casual fan cares enough about these protests not to watch.
Freegards
I’ll never watch the NFL again. Players and the ruling body can pound sand before my cable box reports me watching them again.
There are other things in this world than watching a bunch of life time pampered idiots who forget where the money for playing a game comes from. And more importantly the military veterans (then and now) who gave them the right to their stupid “protests”.

NFL vs the various city police departments
Who will win? The polic3 should stop offering protection
