Obama, on Midway Atoll, speaks of protecting planet

President Barack Obama arrived on Midway Atoll today, paying homage to the men killed in a critical World War II battle and stressing the importance of protecting the planet and all its inhabitants from the effects of climate change.

Obama emerged from Air Force One and greeted the roughly 40 inhabitants of Midway who had come out to welcome him. “We are going to have a great time,” he told them.

Obama is quoted recently saying the salton sea in California should be cleaned up in context with climate change and man made pollution. But the salton sea is landlocked which is why it has high salinity not anything caused by man, The salton sea was man made, but he not saying making the lake was a disaster, he is implying the lake if untouched by the dirty hands of westerners would be a clean lake, and we should try to fix it ! , maybe he can clean up the Dead Sea too when he leaves the office of president, what a bozo !
