We can be sure that – if Jill Stein starts creeping upward in the polls – the mainstream media will knock her down to protect Hillary Clinton and keep her from reaching the 15% threshold required to participate in debates. To the pundits and journalists in America's news establishment, electing Hillary Clinton has become a righteous duty. In their minds, Donald Trump is the greatest evil threatening the American way of life, while Hillary Clinton represents a progressive step forward to a new milestone in American history. If you think America's mainstream news media is one-sided, corrupt and biased by accident or for reasons of simple partisanship, you are wrong. Journalists and executives in America's mainstream news media believe they are doing the work of god – whatever that god might be. They believe that defeating Donald Trump is their moral duty and they're willing to sacrifice everything to accomplish their mission.
A strong Jill Stein puts Hillary at risk, because her campaign threatens to siphon votes from Hillary without actually putting Stein into the White House. This is the belief among American journalists that will ensure Jill Stein's minimal poll numbers, or a barrage of negative news stories if Stein happens to make any gains. This means that Jill Stein not only has something in common with Bernie Sanders, she has something in common with Donald Trump. All three candidates face the same uphill battle against the well oiled Hillary machine inside American media.

Like there’s any chance at all of her getting to 15%. And I don’t think Johnson will get there either. They are both simply distractions, but I saw some pollster yesterday who claims they both take more votes from Hitlary than Trump. So at least they are doing “positive harm.”
Yet that won’t be sexist when they knock her down. But if Trump has some negative words for Stein, I’m sure that will be construed as ‘sexist’.
I can’t understand why. Their princess has got “double digit” and “triple digit” leads over Trump. What the hell are her minions worrying about? They’re predicting a “landslide”.

The debates should just be Trump V. Hillary and the turd party candidates should NOT be there at all! They'd just be a stupid distraction and foul up the debate!
Gary Johnson is in this race for one reason. Bill Clinton never got 50% of the vote and they need a third party candidate to win.
So the MSM will never be as leftist or communist as rightwing nutjobs (such as myself) have claimed or continue to claim.

People who are "leftish" are the biggest consumers. They are forever following the latest fads and keeping up with the Joneses. The whole green energy scam is getting millions of them to blow their wads on Prius's, "Smart Cars", solar panels, etc.
True lefties don't spend all that much. They might grow some of their own food, buy their clothes at swap meets, etc. Conservatives will keep the same suit for decades so long as it's not completely threadbare.
So the deep dark secret of the MSM is that they are shills for fad whores and not the protectors of special snowflakes that they claim to be.
That's why they must kill Jill and why they really deep down don't have anything in common with her. They're much more comfortable with Hillary and her changing array of bladder control enabled pantsuits.
Trump should insist on Jill Stein being in the debates if Johnson is allowed in.

I think I understand you here, but I would make a slight correction, which may be just a matter of semantics.
The media represents and pushes the point of view of what I've come to think of as the "elites." Many if not most of the C-level management of big business are members of this elite. They are mostly educated in the same schools, and think the same way about society.
These elites see themselves as above such things as national boundaries, patriotism, nationalism, religion (which many of them see as superstition), and the morality that traditional religious instruction attempts to teach.
To do a complete description of the elites and their politics and sociology would take many thousands of words, and much has been written about the concept by persons more knowledgeable than myself.
If you've seen the movie Elysium, you have the basic model of where the elites see themselves.
Even though they haven't (yet) constructed a gigantic orbiting paradise for themselves, they've almost completely accomplished a virtualized version of that place here on Earth, with their gated communities, workplaces protected by armed guards, and in many cases personal armed escorts wherever they go.
Their money and power makes them feel like they're not a part of everyday society. Just look at Hillary and they way she lives and works to see what I mean.
Trump could be part of the elite, and certainly moves in their circles. I guess he lives as a full-fledged member of the elite, but he doesn't seem to think that way.
By the way, I won't be surprised if - once he wins the election - he turns into a total elitist. I will be very disappointed, but not surprised.
I don't really trust him to remain the seeming "man of the people" that he appears to be as he campaigns for President.
Gary Johnson has what looks to be some expensive, professional ads in PA and often. Can’t imagine he can afford that on his own.
