I have cousins in Auckland. Which way would a tsunami travel from that point?
Depends on which way the plate shifted, it could go any which a way.................
Auckland looks to be sheltered from a tsunami originating at quake location, though I would think there would be plenty of surge. FWIW, Hawaii is not in danger of a tsunami from this.
