I get the same feeling that the timing is weird. Why NOW instead of 6 months from now?
Especially when there was already that British autistic nut who tried to shoot Trump at a rally, after hearing his American girlfriend’s friends call Trump the new Hitler for months?

But just like McCain, His service to his country does not negate his overt treason and dishonor while serving in office.

Bush caused great harm to our country. That’s the straight dope in a nutshell.

Levine says Hinckley will be 'a citizen about whom we can all be proud.'

The Left was already proud of him -- the day he shot Reagan.

At the moment he was attempting to murder Ronald Reagan, Hinckley’s parents were dining with George Bush, the vice president at the time.

Nonsense.

Give him his gun back and tell him Hillary is banging Jodi Foster.

Are you implying that what I stated is not true?

It is part of the historical record, and the Hinckleys were friends with the Bush family.

“If you plead insane, you should never get out.”

I like the way Georgia handles claims of “insanity.” There is no verdict of “not guility by reason of insanity.” You can be judged “guilty but mentally ill,” in which case you serve your sentence in a state mental hospital. If you are treated successfully for your mental illness, you are then transferred to a regular prison to serve out your sentence.

I stand corrected. It was Neil Bush, who was to have dinner with Hinckley's brother Scott, and it was the next day.

"...The Hinckleys were donors to Poppy Bush’s political campaigns over the years, and they gave to support the first, unsuccessful bid for Congress of the young George W. Bush, in 1978. The families lived close to each other, they socialized; I saw indications that, at one point, they may have shared the same lawyer.

Even more strangely, Neil Bush, son of the vice president, was scheduled to have dinner with Hinckley’s brother, Scott, the day after the shooting..."

“But why did they show him those pictures of Trump with Jodi Foster?”

POST OF THE DAY

I hope his new, immediate hire, $180,000 salary job with WaPo works out for him.

“When Brady died in 2014, his death was ruled a homicide, caused by the gunshot wound he received in 1981.”

Political grandstanding. To be homicide, you have to die within a year of the battery, and from the injury or its complication.

The law doesn’t work like that. If you shoot me, and I die 33 years later, it isn’t homicide. I have to die within a year in most all cases, and it has to be from the wound or its direct complications.
For your theory to work, every aggravated battery would become a homicide case as soon as the victim passes away decades later.

The would be like getting hit by a beer bottle over the head on VE day, dying of a stroke in 1978, and deciding its a homicide. Take the emotion out and no, Brady wasn’t murdered.

You are right, it wasn’t Hinkleys parents with Bush. It was Hinkleys brother with Neil Bush. And Hinkleys parents were Texas oil and big contributors to Bush.

That’s the same poppy Bush who cant remember where he was when he heart JFK was murdered.

Bad decision. Anyone who shoots an American president, or even just shoots Barack Hussein Obama, should get life without parole in either a prison or a psych ward. That said, he has good taste in women:

I always thought once you are no longer ‘sick’ you should have to serve your full sentence. Or execution in this case.
