Locally, there is almost no single family home construction
There is a boom in apartment construction. There will be a glut of apartments by 2017.
Apartment rents will be cheap and some marginal developers will fail
In the towns in this region, every contractor is trying to get approval for zoning-busting apartment buildings and claiming they're high income or assisted living. How stupid do they think we are? (well, it does seem that the councilmen in many of these towns are either that stupid or that paid off) Low income people who will depress the wages are flooding the country and "high income" construction is what they're pretending?
Once that stuff is approved, there's nothing to stop its intent to change.
