Donald Trump took his plan for a border wall to the doorstep of Mexico’s president Wednesday — only to be told there’s no way Mexico would pay for it.
“At the beginning of the conversation with Donald Trump, I made it clear that Mexico will not pay for the wall,” President Enrique Peña Nieto tweeted soon after a private meeting and joint press conference with Trump.
But later Wednesday, the GOP nominee doubled down on his promise to make Mexico pay during his long-awaited speech on immigration, in which he showed no signs of softening his positions as some had expected.
“We will build a great wall along the southern border, and Mexico will pay for the wall, 100 percent. They don’t know it yet, but they’re going to pay for it,” he thundered.
The wall, he said, would be “impenetrable, tall, powerful, beautiful,” and would include high-tech sensors to sniff out tunnels.
When asked in Mexico if he and Peña Nieto discussed who would pay for it, he declared, “We discussed the wall. We didn’t discuss who pays for the wall.”
“That’ll be for a later date,” said Trump.

Tax remittances. Easy.
Every single illegal captured in the US should cost the Mexican government $10k or so. Which would go to fund the wall, and pay for the employees which will all be illegal immigrants. Paying off their debt to the US public.
Simple. Impose a tax on every electronic money transfer wired to Mexico by the illegals working here.
and if they shut off the EBT cards and welfare money, there’ll be less funds to transfer... YES!!!!!
$10k* x 50 million illegals = 500 billion dollars. We can build the wall out of platinum.

Are you a cosigner for your daughters rent? Even if not, if she cant pay because you deduct too much they come after you for the rent anyway...and if she has to quit school and live with you that costs more, especially with an eviction and bad credit. Plus she will never get that high paying job later in life to help you when you are in the home.

Ya lost me there, when you lumped Trump and the media together. I say don't sell Trump short on logic or the art of the deal. He's done it in real life. So congrats on being right since day one. Being right on day one, plus $1.99, is worth a breakfast burrito.
If Trump can deliver 5/10 items in his speech, he would be the most conservative president in a century. No more blanket amnesty to millions of illegals. Breaking that precedence of amnesty is worth 10 Nobel prizes.
