This is the stupidest story I have read about a bank robbery.
Unfortunately I live in MN where even in lousy English it appears the man was attempting a bank robbery; he was threatening a bomb explosion; threatening the man’s family, etc. I wonder if he had stated “Allahu Akbar”, the police would have understood it better. Probably not, since we all must be PC and never think ill of others who are ‘foreign” or Islamic.
An so life goes on until the next time a building explodes and questions are asked about ‘who was that man, and why did we not watch him closer.
One last thought. The would-be robber needed a translator, so an Arabic speaker was brought in. How could we trust the interpreter? For all we know he could have been an accomplice. Oh, woe is me.
No, no! It wasn’t a robbery! He thought the bank was a mosque and asked for the Mullah, and the teller thought he said he wanted the moola. That’s why he needed an interpreter.
