The “Logan Act” as I understand is one where a private on his own conducts “foreign policy”. Essentially appears to speak for and obligate the United States without official sanction. Stuff that Jesse Jackson & Bill Richardson used to do.

Look it up, it’s Logan act pertains to negotiations. Either way Trump simple reiterated his positions. Not a violation of the Logan act.
