How about, regardless of the payload, at 2000 feet the flight suffers from a poorly designed trigger resulting in nuclear detonation. The world mourns the tragedy while snickering in their shirt sleeves. The United States calls an Emergency Meeting and declares war only minutes before two dozen Hydrogen Bombs detonate over Iran "in retaliation".
