Sultan Erdogan Pulled Trigger on Syrian Offensive Unilaterally, Did Not Warn U.S.

When Turkey invaded northern Syria last week in an attempt to "cleanse the border of ISIS," most commentators and observers assumed that the operation was coordinated with the United States. In fact, the U.S. itself said so, declaring that it was the result of U.S.-Turkish coordination.

Well, apparently, not so much:

But behind the scenes, cooperation between the North Atlantic Treaty Organization partners broke down at senior levels, according to officials on both sides. The two countries weren’t as aligned on the operation as their public statements indicated.

While the White House was preparing to consider a secret plan to have American special forces join the Turks, Ankara pulled the trigger on the mission unilaterally without giving officials in Washington advance warning. When clashes started between Turkish and Syrian Kurdish fighters—who are directly backed by U.S. Special Forces—the Pentagon issued unusually blunt calls for both to stand down.

According to U.S. officials, the original plan was to first make sure that Kurdish forces in the region had left the area. Then, and only then, would Turkey, supported by U.S. special forces, launch a massive operation.

Instead, the Turks went in when they deemed the time right, without warning the U.S. beforehand. Before Hillary Clinton could say "what does it matter now?" Turkey wasn't only fighting against ISIS, but also against Kurdish forces supported by the U.S.

I wouldn’t call Ergodan a Sultan—he might adopt it!

Nobody coordinates with the USA now.

They know that Obama and Kerry are worthless and unworthy of trust.

Add that to the fact that Obama & Co. has been treasonous to allies.

Why in the world would friend or foe report anything to the Obama administration?

The sultan is not attacking ISIS. He supports ISIS. His real target is the Kurds.

Goes to show how much respect our country has lost under odumbo’s reign. “Screw the US, we’ll do what we damn well please, we don’t need them.”

ISIS is being rebranded as the FSA ( Free Syrian Army) to work hand in glove with the turkish occupation of northern Syria and drive out the Kurds

As one analyst noted, soon there won’t be any “ ISIS” “ in the Mideast, only in the Midwest

So Erdogan ignored Obama. The Iranian mullahs walk all over him, take our money, spit in his face. Obama bows to the Saudis. In the MidEast, Obama is every ruler’s bitch.

But here at home, he’s a holy friggin’ law ignoring terror. He does as he please, signs treaties without approval (”ratifies” as in the upcoming Paris climate deal), modifies laws, spends unauthorized funds (Can you say “1.3 billion in structured delivery” to Iran and “400 million in cargo cash”?), lies virtually nonstop (Benghazi movie, $2500 ObamaCare savings, etc), and so on.

I guess that means that if being a bitch is transitive, the American public is the MiddleEast’s bitch... ME>Obama>US Public.

“Obama and Kerry are untrustworthy and treasonous to Allies,”

Says it all,

Other nations have gotten the message, don’t stick your neck out for this administration, they don’t have your back,

They see Russia/Putin as much more likely to keep his word than the lawless Reprobate ruled USA,

Obama has systematically relegated America to irrelevance on the world stage. He’s a sick little pup - all bark & no bite unless he’s attacking America’s citizens.

Obama sold out Israel to Iran, then he said look at me, I like Israel, I just sold them the F-35. What he never mentions is that he promised Israel to “have their back” and that “all options are on the table” and then:

HE CAVES & PAYS to the Iranians!!

Now, after his disastrous policies Israel will need to use all those new toys just to survive...
