I grew up in Detroit and can speak with some authority on the subject. The abandoned houses there are not structurally sound. as BJ Clinton professes. They have been absolutely stripped of any salvagable materials and are not worth the paper their deeds are documented on. Maybe BJ should go there and roll up his sleeves and get to work doing what he knows best, which is tearing things apart and leaving them destitute and raped.

My father years ago saw a house near Detroit City Airport that was only being held up by it’s basement window frames. They exist. There’s absolutely close to nothing salvageable or restorable down there. I know, I grew up there, and have been a carpenter, and a plumber/electrician for over twenty years.
