FANG was in Turkey in the Air Force in the 1960’s - on the
Russian border. He said the Muslim men sat around on the
street in their baggy britches fingering their prayer beads
all day; the WOMEN did the grunt work. He particularly got
depressed at the constant caterwauling by the imams doing
the Muslim call to prayer. Also said they were told not to
wave at anybody with their left hand as that was the hand
the Turks used to wipe their butts after they squatted in
the toilets and did their business. Now; it seems that the
young Muslims are tending to get radicalized too often. -
