I went through that phase. I was a 6 year loyal listener and felt let down when he went off the deep end with his Cruz infatuation. Now I wonder if he is so enamored with Cruz that he shares the hurt that Cruz feels. Sad, but I think that he actually wants Hillary to win. A true conservative would not want Hillary anywhere near the Supreme Court.
It’s the logical conclusion that he would like Hillary to win. If Hillary wins, Trump is off the stage and Levin can try to woo back alienated listeners with nonstop Hillary trashing. It seems to be a cynical ploy to rehabilitate his flagging radio career.
My pet theory?
He reviles Michael Savage, I have no idea what transpired between those two. But, Trump is running on Savage's Borders, Language and Culture. That has got to erk him to no end...
