What the hell were she and her lawyer thinking .... holding a public servant responsible for gross negligence .... lucky they were not slapped with a “frivolous lawsuit” penalty!

Schwarzenegger approved giving her $20 million in a settlement with California.
This lawsuit was against the feds. It sounds like part of the ruling in March was the feds claiming they weren’t liable because he was off federal parole by the time she was kidnapped. Her side was holding the U.S. liable because of other parole violations he made during that time that could’ve gotten him locked up before he kidnapped her.

The suit wasnt against the parole officers - it was against the American taxpayers. So she wasnt seeking to hold the parole officers liable as the reporter suggested. She wanted you and me to pay. Half of the voters in this country want to elect a demonstrable felon.
I'm thinking we need to pay, as punishment.
