Nope. My kid rarely spit up really violently, and ate fairly mild food at first, mostly rice, lentils, along with very tiny amounts of mashed chicken and fish (raised hindu and breastfed until past 2yrs). She didn’t get more...colorful food until she was past the spitup stage. When she did really throw up, it was usually pretty inoffensive, even if the mess was widespread.

We had a couple of bouts of it; one time right after my son got his shots. He was especially cranky, too. Projectile vomiting is a sight to behold. How is it possible that a little tiny baby can expel milk curd three feet!
