A week-long spate of violent attacks this summer — including two involving migrants — has triggered debate about potentially deploying troops on Germany's streets for the first time since World War II.
A July 18 ax and knife attack by an ISIS-inspired 17-year-old Afghan asylum-seeker aboard a train near Wuerzburg left five people seriously injured. It also raised questions about whether new security measures were needed in Germany.

Germany is being conquered by invitation. The invaders were met with singing and dancing on their arrival.
The pretender in the Oval Office and the Felon running to replace him have extended the same invitation here.

Putting soldiers on the streets of German cities is the equivalent of our version of security theater, the TSA at the airports or locking down Boston after the Boston Marathon bombings two years ago.
Once they do Germany will admit there is mussie terrorism; right now it’s just folks upset with western customs and culture and all.
Nice plan.
Let invaders into your country, then declare martial law to protect yourself from the invaders.
Find the people who were rushing to meet the trians and boats with cheering and “Welcome Refugees” signs, and give them a good beating until they tell who paid them. Then give them another good beating.

Someone was paying for all this transportation and food and shelter on their trips.
Yeap the Uniparty plan. I remember the dethroned Dauphin Bush with is open borders/police state dual policies; let us admit in everyone but to mitigate the inevitable terrorism risk the NSA will spy on everyone.
Possible outcomes:
1) The presence of soldiers on the streets will help draw attention to a known problem becoming worse; possibly adding the right pressures for Merkel to correct policy or be replaced.
2) Terrorists will see this as an opportunity. An attack after police presence is increased would likely have a more profound impact.
3) Some citizens may see increased police presence as a sign that it is time to take on a more active (or perhaps aggressive) approach to protecting all that is valued in their lives.
Bottom line in Germany and here in the US, the risk of having ‘guests’ that refuse to assimilate, refuse to live within the norms of a civil society, refuse to accept other faiths, etc. - is far too much of a risk. This isn’t a humanitarian crisis, this is very passively accepted invasion.

Explain to me how welfare payments to the immigrants and adding soldiers in the streets for protection from the immigrants contribute to the economy and help balance the budget?
sounds like far too many states in this country that won’t let legal law abiding citizens arm themselves for self defense. if i can’t carry in a state i do my best to not go there. too many low information folks or holier than thou hoplophobes just don’t understand.
