As for Hillary Clinton’s lies and claims to be for global Internet freedom despite being part of an administration hell bent on destroying it, her true views were revealed long ago, in 1998 in the wake of the Drudge Report breaking the Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky scandal, in response to a question by reporters Hillary Clinton was asked by reporters whether she favored curbs on the Internet. Her response:


“We’re all going to have to rethink how we deal with the Internet. As exciting as these new developments are, there are a number of serious issues without any kind of editing function or gatekeeping function…”

And, as Thierer notes in his piece, Hillary Clinton also said

“We are all going to have to rethink how we deal with [the Internet], because there are all these competing values. Without any kind of editing function or gatekeeping function, what does it mean to have the right to defend your reputation?”

Note here how IP (reputation rights are a type of IP) is once more at the root of the threat to the Internet (one reason I have concluded that copyright is even worse than patent). Of course the political elites–the real 1%–and the Big Media they are in cahoots with, hate the lack of the official “gatekeeper” function. They hate the Internet, social media, talk radio, podcasting, cell phones, twitter, and video cameras.

They will face a similar PR issue for challenging the first female president because she is a female. Thus, they will sit on their hands as another leftist president cements the "progressive" agenda.

For now. The Dems are a disease that goes in remission but become more virulent with each iteration. If we had an informed electorate, Hillary would never have been allowed to run at all. Enough scandals and investigations were already out there to deem her unqualified. Just the Benghazi incident alone would have doomed her.

Unfortunately we have low information voters instead. My mother and sister are both hard core democrats, you cannot tell them Obama is a liar. They refuse to believe it. They refuse to believe he has made a mess of the economy. They refuse to believe he hasn’t done all he can possibly do to wipe out ISIS. I told them both specifically the government was shut down in 2013 because Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid blocked a vote on the budget bill. They still believe Ted Cruz shut down the government all by himself. How is that possible when the shut down was because we didn’t have a budget, Cruz is a senator and did not have a chance to vote on the budget? They still believe he shut it down all by his lonesome. No matter what I say. Facts don’t matter, only the propaganda Obama spews matters, and they believe every syllable of it. Because it’s on the “news”...

That’s what we are facing. Low information voters who don’t know the facts, refuse to accept the facts and don’t care to look it up.

The mainstream press, to them, is above any suspicion. They’ve been brainwashed all their lives to believe reporters have some built in imperative to always tell the truth no matter what. And since the media is telling them exactly what they want to hear, they have no interest in finding out anything that does not fit their beliefs.

It’s just like my father before he died. He was in bad health, diabetic, other serious problems, and checked his blood sugar level one day. We kept a daily chart, he wrote down 68. I came in just as he did it, and before the meter automatically shut off, it was actually 89. He read it upside down. (punch 89 into a calculator and look at it upside down.) So I wrote it in right, he threw a screaming fit. I won’t repeat here what he said, he was extremely vulgar. I tried to show him it was a simple mistake, he read it upside down, and 89 is actually very good. He turned his head the other way and screamed “I ain’t lookin’ at NOTHIN”...several times. He did that at least 3 or 4 other times when I tried to show him I was right.

Most liberals act the same way, just usually without all the obscene, vulgar language that was part of his regular daily rants. The first thing I usually heard was “You’re full of S&*t you don’t know what the f%$k you’re talking about.” Screaming loud as he could. It went downhill from there.

That’s the same mentality I see with liberals, both in person and online. They absolutely believe every word they hear on the so called news, it’s carved in stone, reporters are inherently honest, Obama would never, ever lie...ditto for Hillary. Prove they are liars all day long, it matter not. Your “proof” is just Republican rhetoric. I’ve even seen liberals online post “that’s just your facts”. “that’s just your truth”. As if mine is not valid, and even when I link to government statistics.

Low information voters, brainwashed to fanatically believe the news media is above reproach. Brainwashed to believe only Democrats know what the truth actually is. Only Democrats know how to run a government.

And they truly, fanatically, almost religiously believe it. Anything Obama utters is carved in stone gospel truth. Hillary is the greatest thing that ever happened to this country and will be an even BETTER president than Obama. She’s a SAINT just ask them.

I know this sounds almost laughable, but it is true. We look up facts, look up the truth, have a strong suspicion of the media. They don’t. They believe every single word CNN puts out. If it’s on the ABC, NBC, CBS news, it’s carved in stone gospel truth.

That’s what will be voting in November. By the millions. totally uninformed voters who truly believe they are much better informed than we are. Hillary can lie all day and they believe her without bothering to fact check a thing. She could eat live kittens at noon in Times Square and they would still cheer for more. And would still vote for the hag...

In my lifetime there was one great president and a terrific public speaker because he delivered not only memorable lines, but delivered them with an innate sense of humility.

That was Ronald Reagan who will never be given the credit he deserves by the worthless print and television media. He is, however, the subject of many books that dealt with the quality of a very good man.

On the other hand, we have the Clinton duo one of which speaks at such great lengths that the audience, even though they’re liberal asses, grow quite impatient. He has never uttered a lasting sentence or paragraph. Ditto for the ditzy twit Hillary. Furthermore, one will search history far and wide to find such thoroughly corrupt and murderous people. They rank right up there with the Nazis and the communist Pol Pot.

Does America have a suicide wish? The nation was practically killed off under the eight years of the phony foreign exchange student who was propelled into the oval orifice.

It’s hard to believe, but placing a Hillary in the White Hut would be even worse.

Not many here want to have close relatives who are so bull-headed that they love whatever garbage is served up by the Democrat Party.

I don’t feel fortunate that at my age that I am now the head of my family. In my immediate family consisting of sons, daughters, and their spouses and children I can safely say that all are Conservatives and never vote for the Godless Democrats. That came from years of preparing them for the world.

This doesn’t hold true for one sister and a sister-in-law. They vote Democrat because they’re government employees.

Please, let Hillary fail miserably and put Donald Trump in the White HOUSE. (I won’t call it a hut any longer if that happens.)

Thanks. It’s not easy. My sister’s boyfriend is a Democrat too, they’ve both been union electricians for years, he just retired a year ago. Sis has been a journeyman electrician for 20 years, and she’s very good at it, always the last on the layoff list.

He’s not bad, I can talk politics with him, and he’s not 100% brainwashed. Still a die hard Democrat, probably thinks I’m crazy, but at least he’ll discuss issues sensibly. The other two, forget it...
