In Orange County, Latinos making up the majority of Santa Ana’s population are neighbors to the Muslim Americans in Anaheim’s Little Arabia. The project is a grassroots movement to unite the two cultures by rewriting their identity and challenging stereotypes such as racial profiling.

....Just as Hamida invited Garcia on a tasting tour of Little Arabia – the project’s second event – and Garcia in turn invited Hamida and Vazquez to talk to the class, Hamida plans to invite the Barrios Writers to a fourth event planned for the fall, a “get-out-the-vote against Donald Trump” activity.
“It’s to get the kids to vote as one bloc – Latinos and Muslims,” Hamida said, “Because the hate rhetoric is against both of us.”
Orange County has more than 62,000 Muslims who voted in 2012, said Hamida, who also works as a community liaison for U.S. Rep. Loretta Sanchez, D-Orange. Santa Ana, alone, has more than 253,000 Latinos, according to city statistics.
Reyna said he already knew Muslims are often falsely portrayed in the media, but said he didn’t know they have so much in common with Latinos.
“We’re oppressed in the same way and it’s what brings us closer as people.”

Pay attention. What begins in California comes your way all too soon. If Loretta Sanchez wins the Senate race she will be carrying water for the Muslim/Latino alliance in Washington DC.
Poor mistreated darlings. They can always go back to their home countries. Where can WE go once our country is ruined? They CHOSE to come here. We (ordinary Americans) never asked for this. Since they chose to come here, the burden is on THEM to assimilate to US. They’re talking about voting as a bloc...outvoting us in our own country. WHY are we putting up with this?!

As you know all too well that isn’t happening. The language and culture of the 3rd world has been replacing America in SoCal courtesy of Dubya and Obama. And the rest of the country will get their turn next.

I suspect you’re right, it’s a lose-lose proposition for the US no matter which of these two traitors wins.
I think the rest of the country is starting to see it. My relatives in Illinois and Wisconsin are noticing a lot of Latinos in their towns. They complain bitterly about Latinos collecting welfare, crowding 20 people into one house, overwhelming the schools and getting free breakfasts and lunches, Spanish language showing up everywhere, loud Ranchero music all night, etc.
No longer can people say, “It serves those fruits and nuts in California right! Let them wallow in their illegals.” No...now it’s everybody’s problem. As California goes, so goes the nation, but people didn’t care as long as it wasn’t their problem.
Both groups are intent on replicating their homelands in the USA. Both groups are striving to get all the gimme goodies they can get. Each group has an inordinate proportion of murderers and thieves.
I have kind of expected that to happen for years and wonder why it hasn’t.

I am reading a book about southern California, and all the non-screw-ups were either Moslim or Mexican. It is called. Practical Navigator.
Years ago my Jewish step grandfather use to point to all the positive Jewish subject fiction coming out in the late fifties and early sixties and stated that it was orchestrated by Jewish groups with ties to publishing. He had his own ties in NYC and would know.
He said all the positive Italian films of the fifties were like that too.
And that the Catholic church has influences in the thirties and forties with all the Irish positive films.
So now it is the Moslim/Mexican turn?
Just took the National Red Cross CPR class. All the dummies were brown, and in the 3 hour film there was one old white blond woman and one old white man making brief appearances as speakers.
The scenes were all of brown people helping out not brown people. Over and Over.
