Who in the world sends an email in the middle of an attack? By its very nature you have no idea when it will be read. What a bunch of idiots.

After consulting with General Dempsey, General Ham and the Joint Staff, we have identified the forces that could move to Benghazi. They are spinning up as we speak.” They tried to call - the calls weren't taken. So you share the information however you can. Probably via runner, e-mails, texts, and any other way. If their critical call is ignored - what do you suggest they do?

Someone “in the world” sends an email as a last resort because Ms. I’ll-be-there-for-the-3:00-phone-call wasn’t answering her frickin’ phone, and neither were her “top deputies”.
