What happened to the Saudi gravy train? Don’t tell me the House of Saud is pulling the plug...
I think the House of Saud--through their contacts with the Islamic banks in the United Arab Emirates--may have gotten wind of the fact the Clinton Foundation is knee-deep (or possibly much higher!) in the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) debacle in that country. Say what you want about the Arabs, but historically they have been very business-savvy people, and the House of Saud does not want to sully their hands with anyone connected to 1MDB right now. And the 1MDB scandal could end up seriously damaging the careers of many in Hollywood, too--it appears that Leonardo DiCaprio's own charity had a lot of close ties with 1MDB.
The Saud’s are getting southern towns shelled by Yemen. They are increasing military pay drastically. Looks like the Oligarchy picked the losers again.
