With Paul Gone, Who's Left to Run Trump's Campaign?
ABC 7 CHICAGO ^ | 19 AUGUST 2016 | JONATHAN KARL

Posted on 08/19/2016 5:56:41 PM PDT by Extremely Extreme Extremist

With the resignation of campaign chairman Paul Manafort, the Trump campaign is now without a single senior figure who has ever run a campaign.

Donald Trump's team has always been a lean operation fueled by the candidate himself rather than the organization around him, but from the very beginning the Trump campaign included people who had at least some experience running political campaigns.

But now the top ranks of the team include family members, conservative media executive Stephen Bannon and Republican pollster Kellyanne Conway, the new campaign manager.

Maybe this makes it more attractive, with business ideas and not political ploys.

oh well. somehow, folks, Americans have to wake up.

Or, if left with Hitlery, the Republic dies and history moves on.

The statists will always lose in the end. Their idol of government is a failure.

ABC’s Johnathan Karl plays the concerned troll?

Since when he’s concerned about Trump candidacy or campaign?

Manafort was brought in to serve as “convention manager” — a position from which he “will oversee, manage, and be responsible for all activities that pertain to Mr. Trump’s delegate process and the Cleveland Convention.” Which he did, superbly.

He joined Trump because he felt he could help, and declined a salary. But he was never hired as Campaign Manager and it might have been the plan all along to bring in communications experts like Kellyanne and Bannon at this stage. I don’t know, but neither does anyone else.

The name of the game from here thru Nov. is “communications”.

Aw, maybe Paul was tired of winning. We should all be really grateful for this reporter’s sincerely great concern, however.

So now Jonathan Karl laments Trump having staffers with little presidential campaign experience. That’s why Karl is mad because most of the seasoned Republican presidential gurus ran losing campaigns including Manafort with Dole. Make no mistake that Trump adding Bannon and Conway is going to pay dividends. The media is still making the wrong assumption that Trump can’t win because he’s running a very unconventional presidential campaign and now following the norm. Thank God for that! Dole, McCain and Romney ran lifeless campaigns. Trump is gathering steam and isn’t even close to peaking as a candidate. Hillary has gone as far as she can.

I’m sure it’s going to all be good. There are people running the government now that seem to think it BELONGS to certain families to be passed down like some kind of inheritance. These politicians are treating their public service as a get rich quick scheme for themselves and empty promises for people that vote for them. This country needs disinfecting from the mold and mildew that is growing on the walls of the Congress and Senate from a lack of term limits.

Manafort can now be like Roger Stone and be an attack dog in interviews while Trump remains presidential.

Stop what? I've been a Trump supporter since he announced. But I am a POSTER here on FR. I post news articles for discussion. That's what I do.

My posting of this article does not equate to being a NeverTrumper as you insinuate.
