We’ve got to find a way to remove these judges, short of impeachment.
Maybe if Trump is elected and the Repubs keep control of Congress, a law can be passed to reconstitute the federal judiciary, under Congress’s regulatory powers.
Trump could pardon him..
Why short of impeachment? If Congress impeached 40 or 50 judges and maybe a Justice, they would regain their rightful control of legislating - the message would have been received by the remaining activists.
All good reforms such as you suggest are possible once the 17th Amendment is repealed. As long as senators are subject to popular whims, there is no hope.
