The usual black racist crap wrapped in a package intended to appeal to those who oppose the progressive agenda.
While she’s tossing out a few tidbits to make us say, “You go, girl”, she’s putting out the same “You made us slaves and now you gotta help us garbage.”
Wake up, lady, outliers like you do not represent the mass of the American negro population. Your people have been given every possible advantage for the past three generations. And still your men wantonly impregnate every woman they can find and then run off to the club to find yet another willing baby momma.
I’m done caring about you.
Not a chance. As long as people (especially the highly educated) continually point to "lagging" indicators as prima facie evidence of injustice, they're not willing to "name the enemy."
I find myself very cautious about saying this, because I may find God saying it back to me some day. We should care, but as God cares.
I read something about the founder of BLM saying the same thing. Pander for votes.
She talked about what LBJ said about the black vote, (Though he supposedly didn't use the word "black" and she pointed that out!) and closing charter schools. i.e. supporting the NEA over the black inter-city community.
I think many in the black community are smarter and more caring than the idiot white libs who believe "I care because have a caring bumper sticker on my car" crowd.
Ms Johnson-Huston is yet another clear example of the capacity for Black American women to compete successfully in the world of business. Unfortunately she still hears the echo of an old urban myth...”For so long, as a Black American, I have been told that the problem is Conservative Republicans. While Ill admit they may have done little to try to improve African-American lives, they also dont promise to every election season like the liberal elites. “
This is the horse puckey that the leftist cabal has been peddling for too long....Trump should address this myth.
Charles Barkley said it best in a recent ESPN interview...Ah, well, I vote Democratic most of the time, Barkley said. But the democrats dont have a candidate I really like. Neither one of the parties is doing anything for poor people. Theyre both full of it. Black people have been voting for Democrats their whole life, and theyre still poor. Republicans dont do anything for poor people, either. So, I vote for the person I like the most and right now, its the governor of Ohio.
This is Trumps opportunity to “do something meaningful” for poor people and enrol the Barkley’s and Johnson-Huston’s of America...
Bad editor.
Welcome to the REAL WORLD Nikki. Now watch your reputation once your liberal friends have read what you have written.
Please go beyond a Juan Williams’ moment. Welcome to the reality side. We don’t serve quiche but we’ve got first class hot dogs, burgers, and ice crème.
You’re party hasn’t changed, you’re just noticing things for the first time.
So close, yet so far away...
A small error. A truly small mind, however, overlooks the important things and dwells on the imperfect.
Sometimes you just have to take an ear in each hand and pull...
Before we criticize, let us give a passing thought to "Clippy's" latest descendent, AUTOCORRECT! I have had worse dropped into my writing and probably have let some go on through because I wasn't fast enough to catch it.
Our English is littered with homophones and to distinguish between conscience and conscious is akin to that old bugaboo of 'to', 'too' and 'two' as well as "they're", 'their' and 'there'! (Got red marks showing right now!)
With the dearth of copy and proof editors, we are watching our writing becoming an adventure, as I'm sure we can all cite from this site's examples!
Bump....
AA lawyer.....
But we are supposed to applaud every black person who grabs a clue for half a second, and every black commentator such as Charles Barkley who partly almost kinda agrees with us tonight until they say something completely different tomorrow. I’m done caring too. It’s up to them if they want to join our cause to save the country. if they don’t, their loss.
Uh... well... there's a reason for that. Sorry sweetie, but even white liberals object to being the fall guy in yet another round of the Knockout Game.
I can’t really co-sign but she’s at least at stage one of the deprogramming process where she’s recognizing that white liberals do not allow their supposed solidarity with blacks to translate into actually helping them in any way that would impact their personal lives, and as such, their promises haven’t resulted in any real positive changes.
Well worth the read, sounds like she is coming around, BUT Until she Gets a Clue about the HISTORY of the Democrat Party,
“One of the things that always attracted me to the party were the ideals of equality, fighting for the little guy and our openness to differing opinions”
She will always be enslaved by those promising her Other Peoples Money.
Thanks. That was very encouraging. I think we’re seeing the genesis of a transformation in the African-American community . She’s definitely calling out the guilty white liberal elite for their hollow platitudes and their shallow hypocrisy.
“how many black men are getting pulled into the prison system because of stop and frisk searches in these supposedly liberal cities?”
Woah, there, honey, they don’t get pulled into prison because they get stopped and frisked; they get pulled into prison because they committed crimes.
I’ve been stopped and frisked, but I wasn’t pulled into the prison system because I hadn’t committed a crime.
If you think black men should be able to commit crimes with impunity then your statement makes sense. Otherwise, I think we’re looking at some severely maladaptive thinking.
