Not to be picky but Trump’s not playing a role. He’s truly being a leader. He’s reminding the American people what a REAL president looks like!
The difference is that Trump understands that the optics are an important part of leadership. Best leader I’ve ever met was (at the time) a Colonel, retired with two stars. Whether it was checking ID’s at the gate in 20 below zero weather while that young cop warmed himself, or being self depreciating while talking to a room full of troops, he understood and those kids would have followed him anywhere. The other two wouldn’t know leadership if it hit them in the face... which actually, I think just did!
