ISIS has held the Syrian border crossing with Turkey at Jarabulus for three years - it has been their primary source of supply, and entry point for recruits.
Now they are reported to be evacuating without a fight, and other reports say that Kurdish forces have crossed the Euphrates River, to begin occupying the town.
Just days ago, a convoy of ISIS survivors from the battle of Manbij arrived in Jarabulus. It looks like they did not unpack, and that the rest of the ISIS garrison in Jarabulus is now retreating with them.
After three years of ISIS occupation, the Turkish Army has just now decided to begin artillery attacks around Jarabulus.

one would have to be incredibly naive to think that after years of nothing, this isn’t being done to coincide with the election, since ISIS will be soundly defeated, possibly completely, JUST around, oh, Nov 6.

I dont want people suffering ONE day longer than they have to under those animals, but to see obummer get ANY credit, when he let the people suffer for TWO YEARS would put me in the ICU.

“Why wasnt this convoy annihilated?”
1. There was an agreement with the assaulting force to let them retreat, which is common in the area.
2. They had lots of civilian hostages as human shields - including family members of the guys fighting for us on the ground.

For the same reason they were allowed to come down the highway to Mosul in 2014 unmolested: friends of ObaMao and his puppet master Valarie Jarrett.

There may have been a non combatant in the mix and it would increase our carbon footprint.

Because our military is run by pussified MBA type senior leaders, in consultation with their attorneys. In Desert Storm we hit a convoy like that like the Stukas over Dunkirk.
Todays geniuses let them flee to their next defensive line.
And they let the greatest collection of war criminals since Berlin in ‘45 escape back so they can make their way to Europe.
Disgraceful

And look at the vaunted ISIS military. Zero flank security. How have they bested us for several years now?
