Merkel denies a link between increased terror attacks and the new arrivals.

My take on this: When world leaders make such profoundly ridiculous statements, it implies that trying to sound even remotely reasonable carries so much risk that the implication is that the world’s pooch is good and screwed and we’re ALL gonna know it soon enough.
