George Soros’s Open Border Foundations
Frontpage ^ | August 17, 2016 | Joseph Klein

Thanks to the hacking of George Soros's Open Society Foundations (OSF) by DCLeaks, we are getting an inside look at the machinations of the multibillionaire and his organizations. Soros is exploiting the refugee crisis to advance his radical left agenda. Indeed, his Open Society Foundations should be re-named the Open Border Foundations.

One leaked memo stands out for its brazen presumption that the refugee crisis should be accepted as “the new normal.” It is entitled “Migration Governance and Enforcement Portfolio Review.” The memo was written by Anna Crowley, the Program Officer of OSF’s International Migration Initiative, and Kate Rosin, a Program Specialist for the same initiative.

Never wanting, in Rahm Emanuel’s words, to “let a serious crisis go to waste,” the memo’s authors wrote how the refugee crisis “is opening new opportunities” with respect to donors. They also praised efforts to “take advantage of momentum created by the current crisis to shape conversations about rethinking migration governance.” They had in mind “institutional reforms to global migration governance.” To that end, their International Migration Initiative helped fund the work of the Columbia Global Policy Initiative, which hosts the secretariat for Peter Sutherland, the UN Secretary General’s Special Representative on International Migration. They praised the “elite-level behind the scenes advocacy through Peter Sutherland,” which they believe will influence the outcome of this September’s summits on migrants and refugees at the United Nations, one of which is to be led by President Obama.

I’m sorry. Only payments from Russia to Trump’s (former) (for services actually performed) matter. Hillary cannot be linked to foreign money, according to our unbiased ABCNNBCBS national press corpse.

Whenever I must contemplate pure evil like Soros, I have to wonder, what is the motivation? What does Soros gain from destroying civilized societies? What do his supporters/enablers like Hillary gain?

I have a theory that making as much of humanity as possible suffer abject poverty and misery “spices up” the ultra-rich elitists’ enjoyment of their riches, by making the contrast between the haves and have-nots so stark.

Owning a Lamborghini and mansion only shows off how much better you are than ordinary people if the ordinary people cannot afford decent housing or transportation.

I don’t think this theory covers all of their motivation, but it does address a good chunk of it.

Do you remember Fitzgerald’s book The Great Gatsby? At one time Jay Gatsby, who lived in a mansion on a hilltop, offered free roofing to everyone around him — as long as he could put on thatched rooves, like you would find on a serf’s hut.

It’s the same thing.

Note that Drudge took down these stories from his site as quickly as they were published.

Is there any authenticity issues with them?

Drudge does this sometimes. I think he gets ‘the call’ that threatens to shut him down for good, in the name of ‘national security.’

He has warned that he may well be silenced, if Leftists keep on going.

Philosopher Karl Popper wrote “The Open Society” in 1943 while in exile in New Zealand having fled from Austria before the Anschluss. Popper’s work was a defense of liberty and outlined the enemies of freedom from ancient Greece to modern times. Soros met Popper while a student in Britain after WWII and was so impressed with Popper that he co-opted the use of “Open Society” to name his foundation. But this is totally ironic as a title, as Soros’s intent is totally opposed to true liberty and freedom. Soros is essentially a Marxist. This is similar to the Ayn Rand protege Alan Greenspan claiming to be interested in free market principles when he is, in reality, an apostate to the Randian position and became an advocate for government intervention in the markets.

Have threads here been deleted on soros? Saw on a conspiracy site that the threads on their site kept getting deleted about soros.

Btw...drudge sometimes gets his stories from there.

You would think if it was just about legal threats..they would have been made on This site too.

I still listen to Zebra you must be a tad younger than me. We use to hang out at Speaks and Hammerheads we always fought over who would be the designated (bore) driver when we took those trips from Yonkers.

We need to put a black hat on this anti-American Marxist fool. He hates America and Americans have to hate him back.
