I found it frustrating that Trump made a factually true and damning statement, and then felt the need to back away from it later. He should have made Obama and Hillary’s role in creating ISIS a centerpiece of his discussion of foreign policy rather than dismissing it and diminishing it as sarcasm. While he’s at it, he should also add that the Never Trump Republicans are people who are on the same page as Hillary in Libya and Syria.

Maybe just trying to keep from being Macy Parked or Arkansided later...the guys he's up against have a lot of dead people who used to oppose them or knew their secrets.

Obama could be using the security briefings against Trump. Trump's not allowed to discuss any classified info he's given in the briefings... so Obama can have Trump read into anything that he doesn't want Trump to talk about.
