A week after a female Saudi Arabaian judo competitor allegedly forfeited her first-round match to avoid meeting an Israeli in the second round, Egyptian judoka Islam El Shehaby has been banished from the Rio de Janeiro Olympics for refusing to shake hands after losing to Israel’s Or Sasson.
Sasson twice bowed in El Shehaby’s direction and approached him with his hand extended after the victory, but the Egyptian backpedaled before walking away from the Israeli’s appreciative gesture.
The International Olympic Committee reprimanded El Shehaby after the act of poor sportsmanship, and the Egyptian Olympic delegation sent the judoka home on Monday, according to Reuters.
This is merely the latest in a string of anti-Israeli behavior at the Olympics. Lebanese delegation leader Salim al-Haj Nakoula barred the Israelis from boarding a bus to the Opening Ceremony, drawing a warning from the IOC. Days later, Saudi Arabia judoka Joud Fahmy withdrew from competition to avoid a second-round match with Israeli Gili Cohen, the Times of Israel reported.

The FACTS are that the conflict REMAINS and always has been, the Arab -Israeli Conflict EVEN though, Egypt and Jordan signed formal peace agreements with Israel but, to this day, do their utmost to prevent normalization with the Jewish state.
The latest outrage, where yet another Arab, Muslim demonstrates infantile, stupid and unsportsmanlike conduct these primitive scum demonstrate everyday in the world.
At least we can say the Arabs have matured a bit since the Olympic Munich massacre in 1972 where they murdered 11 innocent Israeli sportsmen. Now they refuse to shake the Israelis’ hands. They have improved...
Lessons for America. Egypt actually is pretty moderate toward Israel but the people are taught to hate Jews. Just like we are teaching blacks, Hispanics and Muslims here to hate whites and America.

In superficial ways, maybe. But the imams in Iran have nuclear weapons with ballistic missiles, Hezbollah has amassed tens of thousands of shorter range missiles for the next conflict with Israel, and the flow of refugees fleeing war in the middle east is worse than at any time in recent memory.
This pause in US/Western leadership and resolve have allowed Iran, Hizbollah, Syria, Russia, North Korea, Yemen and other Axis of Evil countries to build up their militarily and field them in Syria, Iraq and Yemen.
The West is in retreat, while Israel is chastised by those same powers for defending herself in the face of horrific odds and no open, US support.
Fortunately, Israel has a much maligned leader, a true leader who has defended his nation even in the face of US Presidential hostility and he has been aware of this weakness since 2008. Netanyahu is building a coalition that will eventually have to take out Iran's Nuclear ambitions.
My guess is that the Sunni-Israel alliance will go into action shortly after Israel gets the F-35...just sayin’.

Egypt is comparatively moderate but Egyptians are Arabs nonetheless.
I was stationed in Cairo for a year and had many Egyptian friends, including some very educated people - Copts- who served in senior government positions. One evening I attended a dinner party with a group of them and everything was fine until I discussed Egypt’s relationship with Israel. All of them swore eternal hatred of the “Occupiers” and said that there would be war again.
I was amazed that one second everyone was civil, friendly, urbane and the next second frothing with anger. I asked why that was and one of the women said that the “Israelis are still holding our relatives prisoner in Israel” what was several years after their last war. I was incredulous until I realized that they had been lied to by their government (Mubarak in those days). I would find whole trenchfuls of Egyptian bodies when I patrolled the Sinai and I would dutifully report their positions to Egyptian authorities but nobody did anything about them.
All those people at that party thought that their soldier relatives were prisoners somewhere but they were long dead out there in all those places where they fell. Egypt maintained a fiction about their losses to keep their people in the dark about the degree of their failures against the Israelis and the people themselves had Arab blind spots when it came to the truth.

As I have been saying for 20 years now... Israel is the canary in the coal mine... I think some in Europe are now starting to understand such....
The IOC, surprisingly, showing a little backbone.
Kick the entire delegations out immediately.

The Egyptians themselves sent him home. That us encouraging. Nothing succeeds like success and under the SOB in the White House, extremists have been succeeding everywhere in the Islamic World. Obama supports extremist Jihaddis and the Muslim Brotherhood, and extremist Islamist group is represented in his inner counsels in the form of their front organization, CAIR. And there they will remain unless Trump beats Hillary.
