I don’t think “sweet reasonableness” and “fatherly tone” will do anything. There are 3+ months before Nov 8th, and it’s not time for Jim Anderson (Robert Young) in a sweater and bowtie, in front of a fireplace, for a ‘chat’.

Unless the Clinton Organized Crime Family has some serious blackmail ‘stuff’ on Trump, it’s time to ramp it up, minus the negative remarks, and hammer away on Hitlery. It’s not time to play nice-nice like McCain and Romney did, as we all know where that crap got us.

The Clintons won’t be holding back anything, and neither should we. This is a street fight for the future of the country, and if there’s a 2x4 within reach, pick it up and swing for the head.

Who in blazes is suggesting the whipped cur McCain & Romney approach. Politics is never about a one approach fits all. It never has been; it never will be. You do not compromise your principles in the slightest by blasting your enemies with both barrels (figuratively), while quietly explaining what America is all about in a fatherly manner to the millions upon millions of citizens, who have been misled by the media, after having been taught a completely false narrative about America & the Americans in school.

There are people out there who respond to different appeals. What is your problem with that? And there are not 3+ months any more--nor do we need more time than we have to blast our foes effectively, at the same time that we fatherly reach out to the millions of betrayed & misled victims of those foes.

Forgive my harsh tone; but we dare not make the mistake that you appear to be urging. One size does not fit all; the very idea, itself, is contrary to the now four century old American experience.
