I would be honored to live next door to Ben Carson and men like him who sacrificed, worked hard and achieved success. It is the ghetto thug that I absolutely detest and would like to crush like a bug. I suspect that men like Ben Carson believe the same thing.

You forgot the adjective “peacefully”. We can coexist with riots, appeasements, loss of free association, shakedowns, etc. And that’s when they’re a minority.
When they’re a majority, you have Zimbabwes and South Africas.

I’m sure you are correct. Unfortunately there’s a lot more of them than of Carsons. And that is the problem. And it’s a problem you and I can’t fix.
