It’s hot here too. The only saving grace is the wind; we’ve had a good breeze, which is helping.

I took the day off and went for visit with FIL and then went to pool for a bit.

I heard there’s to be a meteor shower tonight and wee hours of morning. I hope to get to see it if I can keep my eyes open.

Too muggy/hazy here for meteor watching. Too much light pollution too. Part of me wishes for fall; the time between Labor Day and Halloween is my favorite season. But as I get older I realize you should never wish time away. You won’t ever get it back.

Yep. The Perseids peak night is tonight. Don't know how much we'll be able to see here since there are quite a bit of clouds but I'll go out to watch later, just in case. Hope it's a good show this year for those with clear skies.
