Will the corrupt olympic officials use some of their bribe-obtained money to pay her medical bills?

Perhaps some time in the green diving pool will help her.

I’m starting to agree with the folks who say that the Olympics should be in Greece permanently - or at least that venues should be set up in various parts of the world for each event, and be permanently maintained.

It just seems to be a losing proposition, the way we’re doing it. My husband and I used to watch all the time, and just haven’t been interested for the past few. Seeing the pictures that someone posted recently, of the decaying structures in various countries, is very sad; and it’s a waste. Permanent facilities could be used constantly, and kept up.

The medal was silver until she dipped it in lake.

Problem with that is it wouldn’t solve the corrupt officials and hell holes would be permanently selected. Imagine having to look forward to sailing here every time?

You’re right; everything comes down to integrity.

But they could be held to standards, inspections, etc., or lose it...

Today’s NYPost cartoon shows all sorts of sick creatures in the water as a smiling cartoon crew goes by. Why are they smiling? Are those hazmat suits?

People get sick all the time, no proof it was from the water.

Chugging down feces
Gulping down Hershey squirts too:
The tastes of Rio!

Dead bodies in street
Green pools, Zika, poop in bay:
This place really sucks!

A haiku :

Part of Rio’s charm:
Avoiding murder, stabbing
And feces in mouth
