If they agree just keep raising it until they say that it is too much. At that point you have won the argument because they will agree that raising the minimum wage negatively influences jobs.

No. EVERY discussion w/ a Socialist should begin, “By what Right...?”.
- Whom owns said property to be paid out as ‘wages’?
- Was agreement of employment FOISTED upon the recipient, or willingly negotiated?
- How many employees did YOU hire?
- Why not open your OWN biz and pay the wages YOU wish? Since co-worker X earns less than you, why not ‘donate’ $Y to X?
- In fact, why not use GOVT to do just that FOR you?
