A desire for revenge drove Pennsylvania's attorney general to leak secret criminal files to the press to embarrass a rival and then lie about it to a grand jury, prosecutors said as Kathleen Kane's perjury and obstruction trial opened Tuesday.
Kane, 50, was once a rising star in the state's Democratic party....

Kane is charged with perjury, a felony, and misdemeanor counts of conspiracy, obstruction and false swearing. She lost her law license over the charges and did not seek re-election this year. The trial is expected to last a week.

I disagree. Kane is exactly the type the Dems love to groom for big things: she's a female Catholic who'd gone to Catholic schools but is hard-oore pro-abortion and pro-gay marriage. I am delighted she's going down. Even if she beats this rap, she won't be shoved down our throats the way Tim Kaine, the supposed “devout Catholic” is.
Are theses charges part of her warning the crooked black Philly pols about the Feds investigating their corruption?
She served her purpose. When Drmocrats were caught on tape negotiating and taking bribes for votes she made sure none of them were prosecuted. She’s should be in jail for that alone, let alone any of this crap she’s being prosecuted for... Color me skeptical that she’ll face any serious justice.
