You are right on that. Throughout history, more than one has found the Russian bear easier to grab hold of than to let go. Hitler being the last. Grabbing hold of the Russian bear is one thing. Letting go of him is another.
That’s a fact.
It is sad that so many people today have not and do not study history.
Russians have historically absorbed tremendous losses and hardships and kept chugging along. Russia lost more people during WWII than the rest of Europe COMBINED. Yet, they dug in and fought ferociously at Stalingrad, and turned the tide of the war in the east, and marched on to crush Germany from the east. Hardship and loss is mother’s milk to Russians.
