A FEMALE jihadi nicknamed the “Muse of ISIS” has been released after serving just four months of a 15-year sentence, due to a technicality.
Fatima Aberkan, 55, was convicted of terrorism charges after being linked to Islamic State recruiters and taking her two teenage daughters to Syria.
Two of her sons meanwhile have been a part of terror groups in the region for some time now.
But her lawyer filed an appeal on the grounds that the court had not come up with an appeal date.
Officials were then left with no choice but to release the convicted jihadi and return her to freedom.
She has to give both of her passports to police, check in with officers regularly and has a 10pm curfew.
But her only restrictions are on visiting the Molenbeek district of Belgian capital Brussels, which is well known for it’s associations with jihadi action, and accessing jihadi websites.
She is also believed to be undergoing specialist psychiatric and de-radicalisation treatments.
Aberkan, from Belgium, is believed to have been in contact with several high profile jihadis in Syria, including a Tunisian jihadist who was tried on charges of being associated with al-Qaeda and plotting attacks on US targets.
During her case the prosecutor said: "Fatima Aberkan has jihad under the skin,"
"She has sacrificed much for the cause, including one of her sons.
“For many years, she's contaminated her entourage with her foul and harmful ideas."

Look at this as an opportunity - If my family had been the victims of her muzzie jihad, well, let's just say she would mysteriously "disappear".
I’ve lost all interest in giving a sh*t about Western Europe. You can say the elites are behind it all, but people there can vote. I will avoid ever going there again and prayer that Eastern Europe learns from what will befall the West.
