It’s one thing to be “invited” to a rally; you can usually get one by visiting the candidate’s website, or the one operated by the local chapter of their political party.
But getting on-stage behind the candidate is another matter. Those individuals are normally hand-picked, with an emphasis on trying to make the human “back drop” as diverse as possible. The Secret Service also has a vote, if I’m not mistaken, given their proximity to the candidate. So, it’s simply amazing that the father of an Islamic mass murderer—with terrorist leanings/sharia preferences of his own— winds up on stage behind HRC, with the apparent approval of the Secret Service.
Members of the LGBT community take note: Hillary is taking you for granted, just as she does other elements in her coalition. And, her handlers are (quite literally) giving gays the finger by giving the father a prominent spot on the platform, where he was in full range of the TV cameras. HRC is “all in” for the Muslim vote, even if it means throwing LGBT supporters under the bus. They would be well-advised to follow the lead of others in their community and arm themselves.
This is no accident. I can think of several scenarios for “why” - none of them good.
Rush just brought up a good point:
What if the Democrats with the willing media planted this story in order to bait Trump into responding?
No matter what Trump should ignore this story, because the media will again paint him as anti-Muslim, which I agree with Rush is the actual result that the Democrats want.
