Tolerance is one of the most often misused words in the language. To me, when you tolerate something, you don’t approve of it but you leave it alone. That is usually because though it annoys you it does not materially affect your well-being, or the well-being of others.
But some things are intolerable. Murder, rape, child molestation, gratuitous violence, slavery, etc. are among them. In other words, Islam is intolerable.
Taking from the producers to give to the indigent should be perceived the same way, yet the left strongly favors it. Therefore the left is intolerable.
Yet we foolishly allow both to exist.
Tolerance isn’t enough, we have to celebrate it.
And, of course, we see in the Bible that Jesus told us to “tolerate” the idolatry and fornication of the Judaizers.
