I heard the original age limit for this ride was 14, and they later made it 12. The boy was 10.

Hope this isn't the fact but I wonder if they lied about his age to get him on it.

If the ride’s age requirement was 12 and the boy was indeed 10, I think both plaintiff and defense law firms are going to be VERY happy.

I don’t see how age could be a factor. Height is the only requirement that I’ve seen on rides. How could they possibly verify ages and what difference would it make?

No, there has been terrible reporting on this. The ride used to list an age requirement. However, that was changed, and until the web site was taken down yesterday, the only restriction has been height (54”). And, the riders had to total to a weight between 400-550 lbs.

The boy was originally reported as 12 years old, but a family spokesman has stated that he was 10 years old.
