These Republicans were unable to stop Donald Trump’s nomination. But they’re trying again.

Yes, and at that point some fairly awful and permanent things are on the table. Such as secession.

Lord have mercy. Let’s hope we win this one.

these are PAID political “experts” who were counting on an establishment candidate for their income.

they are the local campaign managers and paid talking heads. The donor class was expected to buy access and crony benefits.

Down ticket I am seriously considering retaliation against the GOP. I will probably vote for Rand Paul for senate but my GOP House crony hasn’t got my vote since 2010. After the behavior of the Republican party this election cycle I am not seeing any real reason to support them in the future. I know my alternative is the Democrats but really what have the Republicans done since 1995? I have heard lots of talk, lots of promises and got a big lot of NOTHING.

I think the Trump candidacy win or lose will be the death knell of the Republican party and the damned fools killed themselves.

I will only say this: These career politicians who are SPRINO’s (Self-centered, Power-Hungry, Reprehensible Imbeciles Negating Order), only care about themselves and the power and money they get from their actions to control us. Every single last one of them MUST be removed from office, as they are against us and for their own power.

The big-money Republican donors don't see themselves having much power or influence over a Trump administration, but with Hillary, money would continue to buy access.

The politicians are dependent upon the donors, and march according to their orders. The visible politicians are just a symptom -- the money people are the cause of the issue.

You are correct. However, you also have to realize that even with these donors, it is still the people who vote these dipshidiots into office.
Yes, the money greases the wheels, but it is the voters that believer their bovine scatology that get them elected.
