Way too late to get on ballots
I’m pretty sure he’s a specific type spoiler. Utah only has 6 EVs, but a Mormon with a specific crusade—especially if Mittens pleads his case—could deny them to Trump. Requirements for Utah are below. I haven’t researched any other states with large Mormon populations:
An independent presidential candidate can get on the general election ballot by filing a petition with the lieutenant governor no later than August 15 in the election year. The candidate must also pay a $500 filing fee. The petition must contain the signatures of 1,000 registered voters.[20]

An independent presidential candidate in 2016 would need to collect 1,000 signatures in Utah in order to get on the ballot.[21]
