It does look like they want to outlaw it and if a patient cant afford a high-priced medication, well that is just to bad. Thanks to that arrogant pos occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, and the demonrats who voted for the Unaffordable Healthcare Act

The US pushed for tougher intellectual property standards and enforcement and that could extend patents and have stricter patent enforcement, thus making it illegal to produce some generics now being produced

I don't know a lot of details, but that's the general area that would affect generic drug production.
