Stop Making Excuses For Militant Islam, Pope Francis
The Federalist ^ | M.G. Oprea

Pope Francis does a disservice to his followers and world leaders, who would look to him for the confidence and moral backing to call out Islamic terrorism and face it head-on. --------- On Sunday, Pope Francis responded to questions from reporters about why he won’t call out Islamic violence or reference Islamic terrorism when responding to terrorist attacks like the one that took the life of French priest Jacques Hamel last week. The pope denied any associations between Islam and violence and said “If I speak of Islamic violence, I should speak of Catholic violence.” By speaking this way, he does a disservice to his followers, and world leaders, who would look to him for the confidence and moral backing to call out Islamic terrorism and face it head-on.

According to Pope Francis, every religion has the potential for violence, including Catholicism. This, of course, is true, because every single human person has the potential to do wrong, as Catholicism itself teaches. So we’ve seen violence play out in the history of the Catholic Church. But that doesn’t mean that today some religions’ adherents don’t encourage it more than others, or have a greater potential for violence. Context and culture matters.

I respect the teachings of Catholicism, but the hierachy is a problem, precisely because of people like His Majesty, King Francis. King Francis is one of the last absolute monarchs on the planet; Garibaldi tried to get rid of the Papacy, and people like King Francis make me wish he had succeeded.

Perhaps its not a surprise that Francis, an absolute dictator and monarch, has a soft spot for Islam, an entire religion based on religious monarchical rule. Odd because Christianity is peaceful, as is catholicism, and Muslimism is terrorism.

The fake Pope refuses to see the true nature of Islam.

could it be the similarity to the cartels, for whom El Señor Papa sympathizes? They do operate in Argentina.

Bergoglio is a lot like Obama.

They both are working hard to complete the destruction of their areas of responsibility. Both have made giant strides in bringing down the Roman Catholic Church and the United States of America.

I don’t believe that God is pleased with these two socialists and their moving forward to destroy two important institutions.

Both are placing perverts atop pedestals to be respected and to be elevated. In Bergolgio’s case he is finishing off the church as part of a process that began with Vatican II. Any one of his predecessors could have stopped the harm created by Vatican II where tenets and rubrics were tossed out the window and a new religion was created that had little to do with God.

Glad you saw it before they removed it. Never in my life have I seen such a moral idiot in a popes mitre. What is this guy trying to do, destroy everything the church has created? Had this moron been around when Christ was crucified he’d have been pounding in the nails. Is there some process by which a pope can be removed?

Interesting insights, and I get where you're coming from, but this stuck out:

"Islam, an entire religion based on religious monarchical rule..."

I don't see how that's true in practice. IN theory, Islam favors a caliphate, religious rule by one man seen as the successor of Muhammad and absolute spiritual and temporal leader of the entire Muslim community. That sure fits your description.

However, as far as I know, that situation has not been seen since the death of Muhammad, was not sustained during the Rashidun caliphate, did not exist even at the height of the Ottoman Empire, and certainly does not exist now.

Islam is totally regionalized and fragmented.

There's nobody on earth who represents all Muslims; no even who represents all Sunnis (the most numerous group). Not even in all religious matters, let alone "temporal" (this-worldly).

Although there was always ample evidence, Bergoglio’s comments equating “Muslim violence” and “Catholic violence” really nailed down the case that Bergoglio is intellectually dishonest, and is a sock puppet for the Leftist, one-world, jihadist machine. That is, for those who still had any doubts after his slobbering visit to the White House, where he called carbon dioxide a “pollutant.”

I am a Catholic. That does not make me one of Bergoglio’s “followers.” The opposite, in fact.

The Pope is a kind of monarch, but not an absolute monarch. What with Paul VI’s criminal vandalism of the liturgy, and Bergoglio’s attacks on religious, the moral law, and rational thought, the papacy needs to be put back in its proper box.

With his daily abuses of the Church, and the human intellect, Bergoglio is hastening the day when that will happen.

Not only did they not stop it, they encouraged and enforced it. Meanwhile, most only see/want to see the damage done by the latest and greatest (aka "Francis").
