What if ABDNCBS is as corrupt as most think it is and Trump is leading? What if America was not as upset about what he said about the PC protected victim and his poll numbers really did not fall and is actually leading? What if the entire Punditocracy is as wrong as they have been about the entire election and Hillary is the one in trouble and about to lose the White House too? What then DC?

We know that Moscow on the Potomac is worse than it ever has been and is simply a place where politicians and the Chamber of Communists can steal Americans’ wealth, but what about the rest of the structure? The media has become another black hole which had one sole function in theory which was to record history. It never has, although has had a few members in the past who have come close, but has always been a personality driven enterprise. It is now filled with hardcore Marxists who were brainwashed in college by their Socialist professors and now believe their purpose is to promote the DNC doxology at all costs.

When politics enters into any profession, corruption follows. When Marxism enters it then it is no longer a profession but an agenda driven propaganda machine. In this case it is to promote a communist country in the model of the Soviet Union and make Americans into good little Soviets. They truly believe that was a superior system since the gummit is far more just than those pukes in Wall Street and will provide a utopian existence for the downtrodden. No really, these cockroaches are true believers and will talk about it in the A List parties in Georgetown. They are inside the bubble and never listen to anyone outside it.

When you have an agenda to promote then anything goes and the ends justify the means. As we saw in the DNC emails, there is a direct link between it and the media. Instructions were given to F Chuck Todd to ease up on his questioning of Harpy to make her look better. They are told what to say and how to say it to advance their agendas. The Establishmedia has no interest in delivering the news and have become nothing more than DNC spokesmen to get votes for their candidates using the same formulas they have been using for decades. What if those formulas do not work anymore?

With the internet the truth goes around the mediots and is piped directly into the peoples’ monitors. There are so many new avenues there is no reason to watch these activists and even if you do you can dismiss ninety percent of what they say and fact check it yourself to derive the truth. A larger percentage of the people are doing this and no longer valuing anything they are saying. This includes the phony polls which are complete fabrications and have as little to do with accuracy and more to do with inventing an agenda driven talking point.

With the advent of the cell phone and caller ID there are no possible ways to get an accurate poll. During the primary season and before we have been seeing polls off by as much as fifteen percent and especially with the Lying Queen against Sanders and underrating Trump by large margins. When someone sees a toll free number or a call from DC they are not going to answer it. This goes doubly if you are a Trump supporter since you do not want to be called a racist, sexist, homophobe by the pollster so you ignore it and especially if you are a woman. It only goes to explain why every election the Tea Party candidate outperforms their polls.

The people have seen this selective outrage so many times they have become numb. Oh, how can Trump insult a Gold Star parent who gave their son? Since when has the DNC ever cared about the military or Gold Star parents for anything but props so they can spew their hate of America? Only when it fits their agenda do they faux care and then they hide behind that honor and sanctimoniously to magnify their outrage. Worse yet, when has the DNC had any regard for the Constitution? It was a well rehearsed photo op which may have had some impact for the media, but the average voters could see through their act forcing the Establishmedia to cook the books.

When the pollsters have to add 10% more Dems and the B of Benghazi is only up eight then it means she is likely down two or ten. When the Independents are breaking heavily towards Trump there are not enough BrainDems to carry her over the top. They can only manufacture 5% through fraud which means she is in trouble with a capital T which stands for Trump.

What if All the Kings Horses and All the Kings Men can’t put Harpy Dumpy together again? What if the Dems lose the WH and are completely shut out of DC? What if the media cannot determine who wins and loses or those commercials no longer have the impact they once did, what then? That would make the DNC completely irrelevant and Marxism would begin fading into the dustbin again. What if all of those media bullies were irrelevant and nobody listened or cared what they thought or felt they needed to give those interviews to a dying media? If Trump wins the DC echo chamber would have to talk to Americans rather than laugh at them amongst themselves. Imagine no media, it isn’t hard to do...

When Achmed Hussain Mohamhead waved his Constitution into the camera the media had a rehearsed response no matter how Trump reacted and he was going to get the Islamophobe treatment. Too bad Trump didn’t have some parents of an Islamic terrorist attack from Orlando to counter this victim, but fighting back in the long run was the right answer and not one the DNC expects from Repubs. They expect the apology tour while you flog yourself publically. They are going to call you a racist, sexist, homophobe anyway so you may as well give them a reason and now Trump looks stronger as the Mooselimb Brotherhood ties are revealed about this terrorist sympathizer. How much guilt do you have to live with knowing the people you support killed your son?

In the end the NeverTrumpers are going to have to decide, are they are going to be babies or do they do the right thing and support Trump. No matter how much you hate him the answer is obvious to anyone who thinks we are on the wrong path. No, he is not perfect or even close, but he loves his country and will be a strong spokesman for capitalism and America. It is hard to imagine no matter how much you despise the guy when you look at that ballot knowing there are only two directions you would either surrender your God given right to vote or vote Marxist. We have never had a more clear choice between two candidates wanting to go opposite paths and that is what terrifies the DNC establishment. This is why they are in panic mode since they are standing on the edge of the abyss and America is about to give them a push.

Themes of the day appear to be "Trump in a [poll] slump" and Morell's OpEd in the NYT. That OpEd is half "Trump is unfit" and "Trump is an unwitting tool of the Russians."

Ben Carson had a good rebuttal to Morell, on CNN. Pointed out that he has the same judgment as Hillary on the Benghazi incident, and the same interest in justifying the abandonment of Americans under attack in Benghazi.

The press trots Morell out as an unbiased career intelligence officer, when his role has always been PR in support of whoever hires him. He works alongside Leon Panetta.

BLITZER: I want to talk about the economy in a moment. I want to get your reaction, your response to what the former acting CIA director, Michael Morell, did today. Wrote an article in "The "New York Times," endorsing Secretary Clinton, describing Donald Trump this way -- let me put it up on the screen. He said, "Donald J. Trump is not only unqualified for the job, but he may well pose a threat to our national security. In sharp contrast to Mrs. Clinton, Mr. Trump has no experience on national security. Even more important, the character traits he has exhibited during the primary season suggest he would be a poor, even dangerous commander-in-chief."

He spent 20-plus years, served Democratic presidents, Republican presidents. He said he can no longer remain silent and wrote this arm. Your reaction?

CARSON: My reaction is that he has also involved with the secretary of state during the Benghazi thing. And he was not critical of her in a situation where we had those Navy SEALs on top of that compound firing away, helping their colleagues escape. And I know in the back of their mind, they were saying, help is on the way, because we've always supported our troops. We've always supported our staff. We left them. We said it's too dangerous. What precedent does that set? What does that tell our military people in the future? You get in a scrape, you're on your own? That's not a good message. That's somebody who I think would not be a fit commander-in-chief.

BLITZER: So you are saying Hillary Clinton would not be a fit commander-in-chief. But you are raising questions now about Mike Morell, a career professional, rose through the ranks in the intelligence community. You are suggesting what, that he's partisan, that he's not responsible?

CARSON: That he supports -- yeah, he supported her throughout that whole endeavor. If he was truly someone who was concerned about America, about our defense and about our image, I think he would not have participated in that.

BLITZER: He had two CIA contractors who were killed in that Benghazi operation, terrorist attack. I assume he's very, very intimately involved if all that of that. And all of the congressional reviews, basically, did not condemn if at all, as far as I know.

CARSON: Well, whether they condemned him or not, he was a part of it, Wolf. You can't get him out of it. He was in it. He knew what was going on. He knew -- I mean, this is really quite, quite clear. So why was he not concerned about that if he's so concerned about the defense of our nation?

BLITZER: I am sure he is very concerned.

ISIS also right now in this article very concerned about Donald Trump and his relationship with Vladimir Putin, the Russian president. Listen to what he writes, among other things, about that, he says, "In the intelligence business, we would say that Mr. Putin has recruited Mr. Trump as an unwitting agent of the Russian Federation."

The big question for me today: Will Gingrich and Giuliani come to their senses and STOP publicly giving the Trump campaign advice on how to manage Trump. Whether Trump needs or wants that advice is questionable but in any case, that should be a private communication. They need to attack Hillary and fend off the MSM desire to get them to attack Trump, a trap they have both fallen into.

“We have just completed our own poll since we cannot get factual information from the mainstream media!! We called 1,000 homes in each of the 50 states and asked basic questions on the economy, terrorism, immigration and presidential picks.

The Economy was the number one factor that Americans are concerned about and terrorism was number two.

Presidential pick was Trump by a large percentage:

Trump 33,478 votes 67%

Clinton 9,788 Votes 19%

Undecided or other 6,739 votes 13%

My friends and I are all Graduate students from all walks of life. We meet to discuss stuff, 13 people who like and have served the military. It took us most of two weeks to be sure our calls were to all people and not just one party or an other we called Americans..

Our poll is done by taking registered voter lists and we accumulated 33% repub, 33% dems and 34% ind.. our poll consisted of 1,000 calls per state. all 50 states. 50,000 people are in this poll not the 100 like other polls.”

As always, thank you AB for doing this thread. Thank you Bray for weekly wisdom and thank you yon commenters for fleshing it all for us.

Couple of things today, one a rant and one more information on the fabulous Matthew Fish.

Quick recap-Matthew Fish is my nephew, son of my deceased husband’s brother Michael. Matthew wants to be President, also a doctor who does surgery with robotics. Matthew Fish is 14 years old, his voice recently changed and I am still amazed at the little buck-toothed young man is so smooth of speech and filled with political knowledge.

Of course I have me a beautiful granddaughter, almost 13 years of age, who last week met young Matthew. I’ll not tell you it’s love at first sight, who knows? But Matthew will someday need a First Lady, no?

Understand that Kaitlyn-granddaughter-and Matthew Fish are NOT related.

I told the story of Matthew’s Dad, Michael, who was married before but whose wife dropped dead at 8.5 months pregnant, on the day of her baby shower. MY daughter, Melissa, was but 14 at the time, also 8.5 months pregnant, with a baby she was going, and did, to give up for adoption. Matthews know this story of his Dad’s first marriage and damn it was sad, sad beyond anything I ever experienced in my life. Michael came over to Billy, my husband, and told him not to be mad at Melissa, who got pregnant deliberately because she has Munchaussen and young pregnant teenagers get a lot of sympathy and attention, just what Munchaussen people want. Even with his horrible pain, Michael was good enough to worry about someone else. Of course we couldn’t take Melissa to the funeral because we didn’t want everyone to see HER big with a child when there was a dead baby in the coffin already and Melissa was giving hers away. Kaitlyn knows she has a brother out there somewhere as well so there’s a connection between the two.

What I didn’t tell you about Matthew is that his mother’s sister is a lesbian and is “married” to a lesbian. To make things more awful, each of these lesbians have a baby boy, each getting pregnant, well I don’t know how but we’ll assume a man was involved in some fashion.

So Matthew is growing up with this. Indeed those little boys are cuter than cute but they deserve to have a father, yes they do. And Michael is at odds about it, taking great umbrage when the unrelated lesbian (NOT Matthew’s biological Aunt) keeps referring to her son as Matthew’s cousin.

Every holiday is a big pain in that the lesbians are NOT to be hugging and kissing when around Matthew. In other words, Michael will be in the company of the lesbians but respectfully asks that they keep the touching, etc, under control.

My mother-in-law tells me the stories of family gatherings and often they suck. Michael doesn’t want Matthew to think this sort of thing is normal.

Just so y’all know that the very sweet, intelligent and personable Matthew Fish faces an odd life every day and he handles it.

Now for the rant….I am so sick and tired of every 2 bit pundit giving Donald Trump advice on how to act. Trump did NOT have a bad couple of weeks no matter what Joan Doe says, Joan Doe whose claim to fame is bedding the boss. Or Joe Blow, a nothing burger with blow dried hair, who lists things Donald needs to do to get his mojo back.

Bullshit.

That Khan guy was a fraud, no gold star parent. And dolt McCain and Ryan all weren’t “there yet” when it came time to endorse Trump.

Let Trump be Trump for God sakes. I realize many of y’all might disagree with me so I am open to discussion.

It got so I had to turn off the TV, even Fox, when some wannabe wise guy was on there going on and on about Trump’s bad week and bogus falling polls.

Anyway, went to church yesterday so will be around today reading the wisdom.

I think you have nailed it. If you look at the only close to honest polling we have covering the period from before the RNC and DNC conventions through yesterday you find that Hillary has gained .1% on Trump.

Here is the USC Plot for today. You can see the convention bounces have settled out and we are pretty much back to where we started. The MSM campaign to show Trump collapsing in the polls was a lie and it has failed to move the needle.
