Let's be really honest in this. Who and at which government agency has signature authority for $400 million unless it is a Budget line item or directed by a court order?

OK, so where did the money come from. We should ask to see who signed for the $400 million. You can't just put $400 million in a truck and hand it over to a unmarked airplane, there needs to be a manifest and there should be signatures when it is turned over to another agency or a private company. I can't take a photocopy machine of of the US Treasury and drive it over to the CIA use it there and then drive it over to the Air Force and put it on a plane. How can I do that with $400 million?

There should be a paper trail of where the $400 million came from and where it ended up with signatures at each transition. IF there isn't such a paper trail, then Inspector Generals for each and every agency should be contacted and asked to investigate what criminal activity took place.

This was done on the quick, without regard to federal policy on how assets can be moved and disposed of and who has signature authority to do things. I am willing to bet dozens of laws have been violated by the Big Zero in his hurry to get the ransom deal done.

I don't think our military still uses the wooden type that I used to move over forty years ago using pallet jacks that we rode like kid's push scooters. The warehouse I worked at in Detroit was almost a whole city block square and we would push ourselves from building to building on the pallet jacks. The money on the pallets was Swiss francs, euros and other currencies. If they had been U.S. dollars, it would have been a violation of Federal law if it was discovered to be ransom money. Obama protected himself by making sure it was not U.S. dollars in that shipment.

The hostages told of sitting in the airplane waiting to take off. They were told the plane would not take off until another plane had landed. That plane held the money shipment. If that plane had not landed, the hostages would not have left the airport and would not have been released. Folks, 2 + 2 = 4.
